In 2024, I was blessed to be able to see bro. Phil Robertson in person twice. One was at the premier of "The Blind" movie, where he was there with Miss Kay, Al and Lisa. As expected, Phil came into the theater, opened his Bible and shared the gospel with everyone attending the movie.

The second meeting was on his property behind his home where I was baptized in the river. Again, though he didn't have to, he came down and prayed over us, sharing the Gospel with us, and prayed afterward. Though I was baptized at 7, I didn't fully surrender to Christ until around 34. So it was a blessing to have the opportunity to be baptized on that property less than 1 year before Phil crossed over. As Phil used to say, "The resurrection looms larger every day." Yes it does. I'm thankful that Phil and the Robertson family have reached so many people with the Truth of the Gospel. We are called to do the same because the resurrection indeed looms large.

Rooted in the truth of John 11:25-26 (and other verses), this design reminds us:

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." The empty tomb changes everything. Death is defeated. The resurrection looms large. And we have limited time to make an impact for the Kingdom.
